Here are the minimum system requirements for the UL Procyon Office Productivity Benchmark for Windows PCs.
| OS | Windows 11, version 23H2 or later¹ |
| Processor | x86-64 or Arm64 CPU |
| Memory | 16 GB² |
¹Windows 11 version 24H2 or later is recommended. Version 24H2 adds support for vendor-optimized NPU and GPU execution providers for WinML, enabling improved performance.
²Systems with less than 16 GB of RAM may be able to run the test, but performance impact due to limited physical memory is significant. This configuration is officially unsupported.
WinML Acceleration Support
Procyon Essentials includes WinML-based workloads that leverage supported GPUs and NPUs for acceleration, with a CPU execution provider available as a fallback to ensure broad compatibility.
Supported Integrated Graphics
Integrated graphics from the following CPU generations are supported:
- Intel 10th-generation processors and later
- AMD Ryzen 5000G series and later
- Qualcomm X1 Elite and later
Older CPUs may still be used if a supported dedicated GPU is installed.
Supported Discrete Graphics
Dedicated GPUs from the following generations are supported: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20-series (Turing) and later
- AMD Radeon RX 5000-series (RDNA 1) and later
- Intel Arc (Alchemist) and later
If no supported GPU is present, WinML compute workloads can fall back to the CPU. However, this configuration is officially unsupported, and Procyon Essentials should not be used without a supported GPU.
Supported NPUs for WinML Compute
If present, WinML workloads can also use the following NPUs:
- Intel Core Ultra processors with Intel NPU and later
- AMD Ryzen AI 300 series with XDNA2 and later
- Qualcomm X1 Elite with Hexagon NPU and later
