The 3DMark application version number applies to the software as a whole. It changes often as we add new features and update to ensure compatibility with the latest hardware. We would recommend using the latest version of 3DMark.

A benchmark version number — for example, Steel Nomad v1.0 — is specific to a test. Benchmark version numbers change rarely and only when absolutely necessary.

You can check the current application and benchmark version numbers from the Settings screen

3DMark for macOS 1.1.241 — June 18, 2025

This update follows last weeks' launch of 3DMark for macOS

We became aware after launch that there was a compiler issue with the 3DMark for macOS that negatively impacted performance by up to 5% for Solar Bay, Steel Nomad and Steel Nomad Light. This performance impact means that, unfortunately, results submitted using the launch version of 3DMark for macOS are no longer valid.

Luckily, quick reports from users made us aware of this error, so thank you to those who noticed this and contacted us!

We apologize to all the 3DMark users who submitted results using the initial version

Fixed

  • Fixed a compiler issue with the initial release of 3DMark for macOS.
