Recommended versions
We recommend using Adobe Premiere Pro LTS 24.6.5 for benchmarking with Procyon Video Editing. The latest supported Adobe Premiere Pro version is 25.1.
Known issues with latest Procyon 2.10.1729
Adobe Premiere Pro 25.3 no longer supports exports to HEVC format through scripting and the benchmark exits during the warm-up phase with code “Error: -1”.
In Premiere Pro 25.2 Adobe deprecated support for software rendering, so the benchmark can only by run with GPU acceleration enabled during the entire test. To run the benchmark with one project run with software rendering on the CPU, an earlier version of Premiere Pro should be used.
Graphics Preference Setting
Due to Windows 11 automatically setting graphics preference for graphics performance on mshybrid systems (systems with both an integrated and discrete GPU), we recommend that you set Adobe Premiere Pro to use the “High performance” graphics preference to get consistent benchmarking results that represents maximum performance.
This can be achieved with the following steps. Please note that the exact method may vary slightly based on your version of Windows 11:
- Open the Settings application > Display > Graphics.
- Under “Custom options for apps” click the “Browse” button
- Navigate to your install folder for the application. The default install location is "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro"
- Click the “.exe” launch file for the selected program and “Add”
- Click on the application in the list below, then “Options”
- Select “High performance” and save
